Dang it!! It's been a LONG time!!! Hello everyone!!! Hello world!!! Yes, for those of you who are wondering I am still alive. Much alive I must say!!!! God has been so good to me since I've last blogged I don't know where to start!!! Why don't I just give the highlights of 2005??

1. Got a new position in TELUS in May and have my own friggin' office!! Whattup yo!!!

2. SFC conference here in E-Town was hot!!!

3. SFC men's households every week!!! Band practice almost every week too!!!

4. YFC conference in Calgary was reminiscing. Sadly I don't serve in YFC anymore and may have been my last conference with them. I still support the events here though as both of my sisters have been actively in it. Was at the YFC Christmas Assembly last Sunday and it was good to see a lot of old and new faces!!

5. SWR1 was awesome. Got the Best Actor award!!!

6. SWR2 in Jasper was even better!! Again got the Best Actor award for the role of donkey from Shrek!!! This was a great time to be away from home and heal some wounds with a friend.

7. GK Fundraisers was fun like being the techman with Ate Lissa for the WoW GK, and battling the rainy cold day for GK Walk!!

8. Going to Vancity for a business trip and meeting my colleagues there.

9. Watching Vina Morales in concert in Calgary (with girlfriend) and getting her autograph and picture.

10. Camping trip with friends at Sylvan Lake!!

11. Hockey is BACK!!! Finally!! Already saw 4 Oilers games and I have tix to a few more. Watching da Oilers on Nov 21 with some bros from SFC and YFC and Grace, the only girl was fun!!! We won in the shootout!! Go OILERS Go!!!

12. Paula throwing me a surprise bday party with SFC and YFC friends!! Thank you!!!

13. Bought myself my own condo!! Just moved in last weekend and I only have a "few" furniture for now. It still in th works but I love!!! My own place!!! Partaaay!!!

14. Most recently appointed to become a houshold head for our unit starting the new year as SFC Edmonton becomes a chapter.

God has been so good to me this year, I can't ask for more. On top of all of this I'm going on vacation for a couple of weeks down south to California and spending New Year's in Las Vegas with family!!! The saddest news for me is that my family might be moving down to Cali also at the same time and I'm gonna miss them a lot. God will provide though and I know my friends here and the CFC Community will always be with me.

Had an amazing week!!! A few highlights includes a movie marathon weekend!!! I saw 3 movies!! Went to see After the Sunset with Paula which was a pretty good movie actually. Man I wanna go to the Bahamas now and take a vacation from this cold winter!!! The Incredibles was REALLY funny, Angela enjoyed that while eating her Kinder combo!!! and Polar Express was a pretty good CG movie and it was funny that I could recognize that a lot of the male voices was done by Tom Hanks. The Conductor really looked like him.

Midway in the week I gotta chance to spend some time with a dear friend of mine, Grace before she leaves for vacation.  The night really went well provided that at the end of the day we had happy faces instead of sad faces. It was such a good coincedence and blessing that on that same night I happen to be with her when she heard good news that she's been waiting and praying for. God bless and see you soon!!

On Thursday me and the guys in SFC actually had a household meeting!!! Our first!! It really turned well and we bonded pretty good, we celebrated by eating at Palabok house after showing up 5 minutes before they close and ordering food for 10 ppl!!! Hahahah!! They almost turned us away but we were really hungry!! The men are really deciding to step up to their service that we are going to have atleast 2 HH every month!! So on Dec 6 we have another one again and we're going All You Can Bowl at Red's right after!!!Whoahoo!!! On the other SFC event, I did my CO on Saturday!!! Was really good and so now I'm really excited to go to the next SWR!!

Lastly, 2 MORE DAYS TILL I GO TO CHICAGO!! I'm so excited to both see the city and attend the CLF!!! I hope and pray more ppl will attend. I'll let you guys know on the details of the trip when I get back. Adios!!

Hey y'all!!! Woweee!!! Boy did I get lost, haven't blogged in ages!!! Mind you, I still read all y'all blogs though!! So keep bloggin'!!! Keeps my mornings interesting!! Neways, we just had our Mountain Region Leaders Conference here in Edmonton and man!!! Seeing the 100 youth from across our province who will be the next generation of leaders here moved and touched by God, and taking up the challenge of doing more than what YFC has done in the past 10 years is certainly an inspiring experience. Having been part of this community for the past 9 1/2 yrs and now seeing 2 of my younger sisters growing up to be the next ones, really comforts me and makes me happy that God's work is not lost but thriving at a great speed!! As for myself, I really hope and pray to God that He Holy spank me more and give me more work to do. If I wanna keep my promise from conference to Him I better be in those new areas we're starting in Mountain Region. So I really challenge all of you, to really go "To the Ends of the Earth!"

On the side note, it was Jaycee's bday on Wednesday, bro grow up!! Hahahah, just teasin'!! We had dinner with friends at a buffet place and there was this chocolate fountain that the kids (these were Jaycee and other supposedly mature guys already) were playing with!! It was fun, the best part was the opening of the fortune cookies. Ate April's cookie did not have a fortune on it for like the 2nd time she said. So I said "Awww, how unfortunate!!" Then Stephen cracks up, dunno why. Well, mine was quite interesting and I actually got two of them in the cookie. I just wished there was a lot of truth to it provided the people I was with that evening. Here you go:

This past week, I've had an overwhelming happy feeling because of a friend of mine visited ( I will blog about this another time with pics as well) but in the same time just recently I received news that wasn't really very easy to take in from someone else....

I had a talk with a wise man today, a family friend of ours visiting from Bahrain. He gave me this advice...

"If you really love something, set it free.... If it comes back to you, it is yours.... but if it doesn't, then it wasn't meant to be....."

Alright, I guess Xanga has died for me now but when I saw this on other ppl's pages, I got interested on what my name would mean!!!! and HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Practically all of them are right except for the N for Neat??? Come on guiys!!! The people who know me!!! MAKE A COMMENT about me being neat!!!! My name should be ADRIA and no N!!!! This is too funny and try it out!!!

The last few weeks (or I guess month) have been crazy for me at work.as I have so much responsibilities now that I'm also a Team Lead for the dept. Just hired 4 new people under me and all I've been doing is training them and all. It sucks and its good cuz now I"m not lazy at work and I actually "do" work now... heheheheheh anyways......Hopefully more good news for me at work as something big may happen soon for me. I pray God will grant it to me as it will be SOOO helpful to myself and to my family.

My service is a little mediocre and I'm quite upset about it. I pray God will really enlighten and bring back that fire and passion quickly!! On the good side, I'm about to graduate from SFC this Friday!!! Yup!! The brave 4, myself, Grace, Anthony and Erwin have made it through!!! It felt like a 2 month long Youth Camp but a little more serious?? Hahaha!!! Anyways... the funny thing is our facilitators in our discussion group are a little scared for us because they feel we that we know more than them, having serve in YFC for so many years and all. But its all good and I still believe they did a good job!!! I'm quite excited to go up to Ft Mac this weekend again cuz we will be hosting an FER so road trip I go with the Edmonton CCs!!! Hopefully Mr. Baria can accompany me as they really want him to be there also.

One more thing, I guess. A close and dear friend of mine, Grace is having her convocation tommorrow and I'm going!!! I'm so proud of her!!! Congratulations and good luck on your endeavors Grace!!! I pray God will be with you in everything you do!! And ama be here for you, you know that!!
